Contrary to the fun 80’s theme we previously reviewed, in August, The BAM! Box went a little “crazy” with their subscription box. I must say some of this stuff made me want to rename the theme to “disturbing” but that was just my opinion. Let’s take a look and see why I would think that.
Are you curious? I was and then I opened it!
OK! First of all, as an avid Barbie playing girl, this was disturbing on so many levels. Yes, it has been years since I picked up a Barbie but this is just wrong! So, I read the description of who this poor decapitated girl was supposed to be and it all came back to me. Yes, I saw the movie Se7en when it came out and yes, I remember the scene. Have you seen it? Well, just so it makes complete sense to you, I found it for you and thought I would share it. Warning: Don’t hit play if you aren’t prepared for what you are about to see!
Another disturbing thing about this box is the mask they provided. I saw Silence of the Lambs and that was about all I could take of Hannibal Lecter. But, if you were a subscriber planning to dress up as this crazy man, The Bam Box just provided you with the mask.
What would a crazy-themed box be without including a Bam Box exclusive art print of Harley Quinn?
Each box contained a Harley Quinn Comic, as well.
The Bam! Box was able to offer an exclusive soundtrack from The Killing Joke which featured “Narcissist and Sociopath” as well as “Trapped in a Nightmare.”
The pin that was included in this box is inspired by The Mask which was another great movie.
Summary: This box was a little crazy, yet disturbing, but entertaining. It brought back memories of watching these older movies and celebrating some of the new ones.
Hurry over to their website to grab the October box! You have a little over 3 days! As you can see, it is definitely going to fit the Halloween season and will probably have some rally cool stuff!
