In February, the Brick Builders Club sent us a BrickSwag box that was full of pirate themed items. There were several items in the box, however, not a whole lot of actual legos or “bricks.” So what was in the box, you ask?
First, there was a pirate t-shirt…
To go with our pirate t-shirt, they also included a matching flag!
There was one small lego set included in this month’s box. It appears, according to the instructions in the magazine we get with our box, when we build this Brick Builders Build Pack, it will be a pirate – imagine that!
As with any of the previous BrickSwag box, we received 5 trading cards and many of the characters on them were pirates or somehow associated with pirates. Check them out…
With each month’s BrickSwag box, there is typically a small Build Magazine that provides some pictures of previous BrickSwag box recipients showing off their boxes and other brick building content. This magazine also provides instructions for any set that may have been included in the box, or other building ideas.
Additionally, it provides dates for upcoming Brick Builders Club and dates and locations of special Brick Building events.
The last item included in this box, was a humorous poster with Barnacle Bill and Captain Jack Sparrow from Lego Pirates of the Carribean.
If you like pirates, you would probably like this box.
We have been receiving these boxes for a few months now and the only complaint or thing I would like to see change is the lack of actual brick or Lego sets that are included. It does usually come with one small Lego set but it seems that over the past months, there are fewer Legos and more of the other items. Having said that, we still get excited to see what comes in our BrickSwag box each month and are looking forward to the box for March. You’ve got approximately 21 days to get in on the March BrickSwag Box, so don’t wait too long.
Remember, if you would like to subscribe and start getting your own BrickSwag boxes, check out their website.
