Sony revealed a brand new IP at their E3 2016 press conference, titles Days Gone.
The reveal came alongside a cinematic trailer, which was quickly followed by 10 minutes of gameplay uploaded online. Days Gone is a third-person action game developed by Sony Bend. Set in a post-apocalyptic future where humans have been overtaken by the undead. If you’re thinking The Last of Us, you’re not far off. Take a look for yourself.
Despite many similarities such as a scavenger mechanic and tight third-person shooting, Days has the player engaging against hordes of enemies at once, with very little hopes of winning said encounters.
The new IP is the longtime rumored Dead Don’t Ride, a project that’s been under development for quite some time. As of now Days Gone does not have an initial release date. It will release on the PS4.
