Cliff Bleszinski took to the stage at the PC Gaming show at E3, to talk more about his newest game Lawbreakers. With stiff competition on the market, Cliffy B and the team at Boss Key Productions are confident in their game standing out from the rest (Overwatch, Battleborn).
When speaking about the game, Bleszinski laid out a brief timeline for alpha testing that will be open to the public. In a refreshingly honest way, he said the game is very unbalanced and the studio needs players to break the game for them. Below is the timeline he referenced. No date was confirmed for early access in August.
To help clarify and differentiate Lawbreakers in the competitive shooter landscape, Bleszinski made this comparison:
Overwatch is the Street Fighter, we’re going to the Mortal Kombat
The Lawbreakers trailer was released just after the appearance on the E3 stage. Check it out here:
From the wee age of 6 he made his way to a Canadian Tire, purchased a SNES for $200 in in-store credit money (Canadian Tire money for Canadians out there), and hasn't looked back!
He loves the classics like Donkey Kong, Mario, and Diablo, but is deep into the new age of gaming with Heroes of the Storm, EA's NHL series, Destiny, and indies like Fez, Thomas Was Alone, and Mark of the Ninja.
