Shadow of the Colossus, a game with quite the cult following, is coming to PlayStation 4 with an all new remaster. Like with almost everything else that Sony announced last night at E3 2017, the game will not be expected until sometime next year. In trailer seen above, it is easy to see just how far graphics have come since the original release back in 2005. It even looks like they might have fixed some of the more technical issues with the original release.
Team Ico, the development team behind Ico and The Last Guardian, originally released Shadow of the Colossus on the PlayStation 2 back in 2005. Since then, the Colossus has already been remastered once before. They released Ico and The Shadow of the Colossus Collection for PlayStation 3 in 2011. However, Bluepoint Games handled the remaster for the PS3, and in turn, will be handling the one for the PS4 as well.
Sadly, E3 is drawing to a close with Nintendo holding the final conference later today. Here is an official schedule for your viewing pleasure. And, as always, keep an eye on The Nerd Stash as we will be showing and covering the events live!
