We may now know what Jason Momoa’s Aquaman will look like donning the orange and green costume. Momoa in the costume was revealed via an Iron Studios action figure showing him in the classic Aquaman costume. It is not yet confirmed if Momoa’s character will wear this in the movie, but as the statue is official we can only assume that it will be in the film.
A picture of the action figure can be viewed below:

Fans will also notice the three pronged trident that Momoa is brandishing in the statue. This is just another element that is making it’s way over from the comics that was not present in Justice League.
Additionally, DCEU fans should keep a close watch for more Aquaman content coming this week. The film will have a presence at San Diego Comic Con which runs from the 19th to the 22st. We saw the first official poster earlier this week alongside a promise of a trailer during SDCC.
Movie goers seemed relatively positive on the character in Justice League. His costume in Justice League was only loosely based off of the character we see in the comics. Momoa putting on the orange and green costume may indicate that DC is making a Aquaman movie for the hardcore fans of the comics, which is something that has been very lacking in the previous DCEU films.
What do you think of Jason Momoa’s Aquaman wearing the original costume from the comics? Would it sway you to give another DCEU movie a chance? Be sure to check back to The Nerd Stash for more news on Aquaman coming out of SDCC.
