Repeat myself repeat myself repeat myself repeat myself repeat myself – we’re stuck in a time loop! Those are the lines of the day in the latest Legends of Tomorrow trailer by The CW, for the episode “Here I Go Again.” Not explained is why the Waverider crew are decked out in disco duds. Maybe they’re heading to the 70’s to investigate a time trap disguised as a disco ball?
Let’s hope not, because that’s a dumb plot device, even with the show beginning to dabble into the mystic. Though pause at five seconds in and it seems maybe the party was their own idea. How did they convince Heat Wave to dress up?

The CW also released a synopsis placing Zari front and center as she puzzles out the cause for the loop, suspecting the secret may lie within the secrets her teammates are keeping. Over the course of the episode, she begins to realize how she fits in with the Legends of Tomorrow. Basically, it’s the do-it-over-till-you-get-it-right movie trope. Only this time with disco instead of a weather-predicting rodent.
Repeat myself repeat myself repeat myself repeat myself repeat myself – we’re stuck in a time loop! The eleventh episode of Legends of Tomorrow season three airs next Monday, February 19, and follows the 12th’s “Daddy Darhkest.”
18 episodes are planned for the season in total, with the finale airing around April 9. And although there’s still time for that magical war foreshadowed in prior trailers, a massive event like that would better be handled as its own season rather than as the last leg of the current one. It also fits with Legends of Tomorrow‘s entry into magic, with season three getting the series situated before plunging its characters into chaos.
