Telltale Games and Mojang shared the release date, along with a new trailer for the third episode of Minecraft Story Mode – Season Two. The episode is entitled “Jailhouse Block”, and the trailer shows Jesse and the gang jailed at The Sunshine Institute. It picks up right after the events of the second episode, “Giant Consequences”, which has been out for a little over a month now. “Giant Consequences” was not only an action-packed episode venturing through icy lands, but it also ended with an exciting cliffhanger to get fans anticipating episode three. Luckily we don’t have long to wait now.
The official description of “Jailhouse Block” reads:
Having bested The Admin’s icy obstacles, Jesse and the gang are rewarded with a one-way trip to The Sunshine Institute, a nigh inescapable prison buried at the bottom of the world and filled with all manner of miscreants. In order to make it back home, Jesse has to find a way to break out, even if that means employing a few desperate measures.
The trailer is nearly a minute and a half long, and it features some great shots of The Sunshine Institute. When Jesse refers to it as a ‘prison’, the term brushed off, and the The Sunshine Institute is instead humorously described as “a reformatory for people the Admin has found difficult.” We also get some quick shots of the Admin, some huge Ghasts, and an rushing horde of spiders. There is a lot at stake in this episode, and the dark tone of the trailer already makes it seem like this will be Jesse’s (and the player’s) most challenging episode yet.
