Anime Limited has announced that Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers anime will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on May 28, 2018. The anime will include English dubbed along with Japanese audio and English subtitles.
Previews of the English dub will be released in a few weeks time before the DVD comes out. The limited edition Blue-ray disc will feature the 12 episodes of the amine as well as a 48-page artbook. The 48-page art book will feature art of the characters, the fiends, props, storyboards from the opening and ending sequences, and a gallery section of some of the clips. The Japanese original was aired in 2015 and currently has a four-star rating on MyAnimeList.
The dubbed cast for Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers are as follows: Robbie Daymond as Adlet, Abby Trott as Nachetanya, Brianna Knickerbocker as Flamie, Ray Chase as Goldov, Kira Buckland as Chamot, Wendee Lee as Maura, and Ben Diskin as Hans. Fans may know Robbie Daymond from You Lie In April and Seven Deadly Sins which are both currently on Netflix. Daymond played Gilthunder in Seven Deadly Sins and played Saito in You Lie In April.
For those that are unfamiliar with the anime, the plot summary states:
“When the Majin awoke from the depths of darkness, the deity of fate chose six heroes and bequeathed them with the power to save the world. Adlet, a boy who proclaims himself the strongest on Earth, was selected among the Rokka no Yūsha (Braves of the Six Flowers), and he goes to the rendezvous point — but seven have gathered there. The heroes suspect that someone among the seven is the enemy, and the initial suspicion falls on Adlet.”
