Technology can be a pretty cool thing especially for toy collectors and people who like electronic gadgets from their favorite video game series. Yo- kai Watch, in particular, uses a watch that is half yokai powered and has advanced technology to see the creatures in the game for you to collect. The watch is one of the most iconic symbols of the series so of course when they launched the first game last year they launched a toy line with it including the first version of the Yo-Kai watch. This watch could read medals and play voice lines; nothing to fancy of course, but now another line of toys has launched, this time with the power use yo-motion technology.
With the new line of Yo-kai toys comes the newest watch in the games known as the Type Zero. This watch is 10$ USD more than the previous one which will come to around 30$ USD. Not much more in all honesty, but enough where most parents may just spring for the cheaper one next to it. For adults who love the series though the new watch is welcomed at a higher price thanks to what’s been dubbed as ” Yo-motion Technology.” The new Yo-kai Watch even has more expensive medal packs to go with it thanks to this new feature.
So, what exactly is this ‘Yo-motion?” Yo-motion is a small projector in the watch the projects a moving image on the yo-kai medal you insert onto the wall. The projections have noise accompanying them as well and as an added bonus the medals can be scanned via the QR code on the back for bonuses in either version of Yo-kai Watch 2. The new watch is blue in color and completely stands out from the plain white version of the first game. It’s currently being sold everywhere Yo-kai Watch toys can be found at pretty much any retailer that sell toys in the U.S.
