Tiny Tina’s Wonderland is beautiful, fun, and above all, weird. It’s a first-person shooter game developed by Gearbox Software with great level design and fast-paced combat, and RPG elements. The game is set in the world table-top game called Bunker & Badasses, in which Tiny Tina is the dungeon master. The game is set directly after Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep, Borderlands 2 DLC. Here are 10 games to play if you liked Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.
Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep
The second installment of the Borderlands series was released in 2012, and as the Gearbox promised, there were some DLCs as well. One of them was Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep, where players would take control of Tiny Tina in a table-top game. This is the first time players could control Tiny Tina. So the first game you want to play if you liked Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is the first game related to Tiny Tina. Not only in terms of story but the gameplay and world of Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep also share similarities.
Dishonored
Arkane Studios is one of the best studios that create wonderlands of its own. One of those games is called Dishonored, first-person action and stealth game in which players take control of the queen’s bodyguard, Corvo Attano. The gameplay of Dishonored is a mixture of stealth and action that players can choose to fight everyone head-on, come from the shadows and kill them, or shoot them. The game encourages players to explore areas to find loot and ways to proceed in a game. Corvo also has some supernatural abilities that would help you a lot, whether you try to be sneaky or loud.
Fallout 4
Not nearly as weirdly beautiful as Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, but the gameplay of Fallout 4 is addictive and fun. Like Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, Fallout 4 is a role-playing action shooter game set in post-apocalyptic Boston. You can create your own character and abilities and start your journey in the wild and brutal world of the Commonwealth. As much as the fighting and shooting are fun in Fallout 4, there are tons of collectible items and uncharted locations to find and discover.
Into the Pit
One of the best attributes of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is its weird and colorful worlds. Into the Pit’s art and style is like Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. Not only that but the Into the Pit is a first-person shooter roguelike where you are summoned to clear a cursed village of demonic portals and monsters. Your weapons are the supernatural abilities you have, like shooting from your hand, which gives harmony to the lore and world of Into the Pit.
Alice: Madness Returns
When it comes to creating a weird and scary world, Alice: Madness Returns is one of the best. The genre of the game is a hack and slash platforming third-person action game set in the world of Lewis Caroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. The combat of Alice: Madness Returns is fast and fierce, requiring players to attack and dodge at high speed. But nothing beats the wonders of Alice: Madness Returns in terms of designing the world and enemies. If you want a game that shares the weirdness of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands set in a different universe than Borderlands, then Alice: Madness Returns is the best option for you.
Borderlands 3
Nothing can be close and similar to a game than one of its own. The third installment of Borderlands main series is quite as crazy and weird as their spin-off, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. Borderlands 3 is set in on the Pandora planet seven years after the events of Borderlands 2. Just like Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, Borderlands 3 is a first-person loot shooter game with RPG elements and a cel-shaded art style. And it takes a lot of time to complete the game fully, so that it would be a long yet great shooter experience.
Destiny 2
Destiny 2 is an online first-person shooter with RPG elements released in 2017. The game is set in a mythic science fiction world with great lore and story. The game is free-to-play, but it has in-game purchases and purchasable DLCs. Destiny 2 can be played in PvE and PvP modes, both cases being fun to play. Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands gameplay has quite similarities with Destiny 2 in terms of gunplay and exploring. If you are looking for an online game similar to Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, Destiny 2 is the nearest game to that.
Prey
Another game from the French-based studio, Arkane Studios, with quite a unique and scary atmosphere. Like Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, this game is also a first-person shooter game with unique and weird guns and a storyline. Most of Prey takes place in a laboratory-like place where an extraterrestrial being called Typhon attacks everyone in the laboratory. Now it is the main object of players to unravel what is happening and how to fix the situation.
Outer Worlds
Obsidian Entertainment is one of the best RPG makers in the industry of video games. Their latest game, Outer Worlds, is a first-person action shooter set on a colorful planet. The humor of Outer Worlds is like Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, weird and funny. You will progress through the game by completing main and side quests and exploring other areas finding weapons and other valuable items worth selling. Obsidian has quite the taste when it comes to creating and designing funny weapons, reminding you of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.
BioShock
BioShock is a first-person shooter immersive game made by Irrational Games and released in 2007 by 2K Games. The game is set in an underwater city called Rapture, where players need to face and destroy Andrew Ryan, the creator of Rapture. The gameplay of BioShock has some similarities to Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, but in terms of story and atmosphere, BioShock is something else entirely. The game is filled with many philosophies and political speaking, but none of it is too bold to destroy the experience of enjoying the BioShock for its gameplay. If you want to play something much darker and deeper than Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands with similar gameplay, BioShock is the best option.
