SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom- Rehydrated
If you are a fan of old classics, then you can do no better than this SpongeBob Title, but if nautical nonsense is something you wish, then you are going to have to wait. Though an infographic released by Nintendo suggested that the game would have a May 22nd release date, THQ has since denied this, stating that the release date is not set in stone. Though this is a disappointment for fans that have been eagerly awaiting the release of this title, there are plenty of teaser videos for you to enjoy in the meantime. Who knows, the game may even be released before Christmas, you just have to wait and see.
DOOM Eternal
Yet another delay to a game’s release comes in the form of Doom Eternal. While there is a release date for PC and other consoles, it is the release of the Switch edition that has seen the most delays. Last year the title was delayed to make sure that the best possible experience is delivered, and this has since continued as ID Software has stated that the Switch release required more time in order for the port specialist at Panic Button to refine it and provide the best result. However, there is no need for despair as this is not expected to be a huge delay, so we may be seeing a release date very soon.
Gods & Monsters
The final game coming to the switch this year is the storybook adventure of Gods & Monsters bought to you by the creators of Assassins Creed Odyssey. This is the story of a forgotten hero on a quest to save the Greek gods as the Isle of the Blessed has been taken over by dangerous creatures of mythology. By battling mythical beasts and taking on their leader Typhon, you can prove your worth and save the Greek gods.
