3on3 Freestyle, the massively online multiplayer sports game developed by JoyCity Entertainment, is releasing its new update today. With the update, developer JoyCity is looking to create a new community space for their player to enjoy. The update will build one central place for players by utilizing cross-play features.
Joycity’s update brings players, FS Village
The location in the update named FS Village is a social playground. Players from all around the world and across various platforms will have the ability to socialize and play games together. The village will create one fully integrated channel for players to assemble in one integrated place.
Players will be given the ability to form a “Squad” within the village. Hopefully, this feature will relieve player frustrations of needing any 3rd party methods to find friends or make new ones. While this may be FS Village’s sole purpose currently, this will only be for a short while.
JoyCity is already looking to expand features within FS Village for players to come back and enjoy. In the future, JoyCity will be adding NPCs to the village and will offer a variety of mini-games for players.
The update also comes with their ongoing New Year’s Login Event that started at the end of December but will be ending soon. By logging in before the 18th of this month, players can receive four items, including 2 Sub-Att cards, 3 Sub-Att Lock cards, 5 VIP megaphones, and 1 VIP membership.
3on3 Freestyle’s update, FS Village is the future
Between the New Year event and the new 3on3 FreeStyle update, JoyCity hopes to bring players together and give them a place to find one another and have fun. “FS Village will be the future destination for all things social in 3on3 FreeStyle. We are happy to bring players closer together than ever before, across all platforms and regions”, said Kyung Tae Kim, Director of the FreeStyle Business Unit at JoyCity.
