One thing the pandemic has done is made us run through almost all of the movies known to mankind. We have seen everything and anything we could get our hands-on. Production, shooting, everything is running at slow speeds so new films are launching with great gaps, so what do we do? Don’t worry, Paul Rudd movies are here to save the day.

1 – The Fundamentals Of Caring
Let’s start with a banger of a movie. This is one family movie that will make you want to laugh your heart out, cry till your eyes melt, and have you feeling so good by the end of the whole thing. It’s a perfect late-night watch. Written by Rob Burnett, Fundamentals Of Caring is an American Comedy Drama film starring Paul Rudd, Craig Roberts, and Selena Gomez. The story follows the sad life of Ben, a retired writer who is looking for work. He has no one to talk to, completely depressed, and his wife is trying relentlessly to divorce him.
But a silver lining appears in the form of a disabled boy. Ben takes up a job as a caregiver and is assigned to an 18-year-old boy who suffers from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Even though Trevor is unable to move on his own, he has one of the most interesting and funny characters.
A lot of things unfold and the duo ends up taking a road trip around America, picking up hitchhikers on the way.

2 – This Is 40
We already have the pandemic to add to our sorrows, we don’t need to watch another sad, tragic movie. So let’s watch a goofy comedy flick, and This Is 40 is one of the best options! Starring Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann, this movie which is directed and written by Judd Apatow, follows the life of a married couple who reached a very fragile age of 40.
This movie acts as a sequel to the 2008 Seth Rogen movie, Knocked Up. Here Pete (Paul Rudd) and Debbie (Leslie Mann) are living the quiet life with their 2 daughters. Both of them are almost at the brink of hitting 40 years old and realize that their relationship has lost passion. They try their best to spice things up but things just don’t seem to be working. A father who keeps taking his son’s money, employees who steal money, kids who are a huge headache, just keep on adding to the problem.

3 – Role Models
Now, this is a movie with iconic moments played out by some iconic people. We all know the lines to the scene where Paul Rudd argues with the coffee shop employee over the ridiculous names for cup sizes, Paul Rudd is really a man of the people.
Directed by David Wain, Role Models stars Paul Rudd, Seann William Scott, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Jane Lynch, and Elizabeth Banks. The movie follows Danny and Wheeler, 2 salesmen who promote a very unhealthy energy drink.
Life isn’t going all too well for Danny and the “Minotaur” energy drink salesman finally loses his cool and causes him and Wheeler to lose their jobs, maybe even landing them jail time. The only thing keeping them away from jail is doing community service, which they agree to do.
There they have to look after 2 kids for a certain amount of hours, These 2 kids are far from ordinary peaceful kids. The kids cause unlimited levels of pain and headache which lets them think if jail would have been the better choice.

4 – Wanderlust
Jennifer Aniston and Paul Rudd, you’re getting an amazing set of actors as the lead for the movie. Directed by David Wain, we follow a married couple as they try to build their lives back up. Both of them are jobless and currently have no money for money. So where do no job and no living situation lead to for the unlucky couple? A hippie community that is obviously not what it looks like.
The commune has some very weird characters and even weirder ways of living. From a nudist who loves to make wine to living with no doors, life is going to get way weirder for the duo and they have no other option but to stick together.

5 – The 40-Year-Old Virgin
Now, this is a timeless classic. You can watch this legendary movie time and time again and you will laugh at it as hard as you did the first time. Paul Rudd, Seth Rogen, Steve Carell, Romany Malco, give us a very funny story about, you guessed it, a 40-year-old virgin.
Steve Carell takes center stage as Andy who is a virgin. He has kept this a secret for a long time, that is until his coworkers at the store find out. They take it on themselves to help Andy break free of being a virgin. But that turns out to be easier said than done, leading to some very funny events.

6 – Anchorman: Legend Of Ron Burgundy
We don’t have to talk you into watching Anchorman, it’s Anchorman! The film has an array of comedy legends of all time, Will Ferell, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, Christina Applegate, David Koechner, Fred Willard, and many other legendary cameos. What more would we want!
Directed by Adam McKay, we follow the life of Anchorman Ron Burgundy who is quite a celebrity on a San Diego channel. But his reign as the best Anchorman seems to be coming to an end as his female counterpart shows up, and well she clearly does a better job. Ron and his news team aren’t going to sit still and watch as she takes over their news channel, here begins their battle.
It’s not just a battle with the new female star, battles between the news team, battles with other news channels that feature some amazing cameos, battles with their personal life, the whole thing is just an example of comedic brilliance.

7 – Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues
If you watched Anchorman 1 you have to watch Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, it’s the law. All of the star-studded cast is back for more insane moments. This time the level of cameos is through the roof, we’re getting people who we would never expect.
This time around we see that the former news team has branched out and has gone their separate ways, and Ron has become a family man. Well he was, he’s getting dumped pretty quickly.
Family matters aside, there is a need for the former celebrity news team to get back. Ron sets out on an adventure to bring back his team and restore them to their former glory. But knowing Ron and him being a magnet for unfortunate events, things are sure going to get messy.

8 – Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Okay, maybe this is going a little too far to classify as a Paul Rudd movie, it’s more of a Jason Segel movie. But that doesn’t mean our main man Paul isn’t getting an awesome role. He plays Chuck, a surfer in Hawaii who doesn’t seem to know exactly what he is doing.
Directed by Nicholas Stoller, we follow Jason Segel who plays Peter as he heads to Hawaii to clear his head after breaking up with his long time girlfriend Sarah marshall. But for peter, life just doesn’t seem to stop messign with him, it turns out Sarah Marshall is vacationing in the saeam exact resort with her new boyfriend. The cast features Jason Segel, Kristen Bell, Mila Kunis, Paul Rudd, Russel Brand, Jonah Hill, and many more.
