Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s next major expansion could be titled ‘Dawn of Ragnarok’, according to a datamine of the game’s latest update. This could provide plenty of new information for the potential future of AC Valhalla in its second year of expansions.
Ubisoft has confirmed in the past that future DLC expansions are in the works for the game as a year 2 of DLC, but they have yet to give any specific details what those expansions may entail, but we may have our first news, after dataminer j0nathan unearthed potential details about an upcoming Valhalla expansion via datamined code, including its name, Dawn of Ragnarok, and the relevant achievements/trophy list.
The datamined information has suggested that the next expansion will be a new realm for players to explore, specifically the realm of Svartalfheim, which is according to a Eurogamer translation of the dataminer’s latest investigation.
This leaks also showed that the expansion is looking to add a strong amount of different abilities and weapons to AC Valhalla’s already impressive amount of content. These additions include a wide variety of things for Eivor to learn and utilize in combat, including brief invisibility, the power to fly like a crow, teleportation arrows, a chainmail-piercing spear, ice powers, and the ability to revive enemies.
It is important to remember however that is not confirmed, as even things found when datamining are subject to change, and as a result may not come when the expansion actually arrives for AC Valhalla.
The Viking Age Discovery Tour expansion was recently released for AC Valhalla, giving players an educational experience of the Viking world, being able to interact an learn about many things in Viking England.
