Back in August, the Ace Combat /S Symphony Concert took place in Tokyo to celebrate Ace Combat‘s 25th anniversary, and perform some of the most iconic music pieces from the long-running jet fighter game series. However, given that it happened in Japan, a lot of Ace Combat fans missed out on a special performance. Not to worry though, as fans will get another opportunity to watch the special symphony concert via an upcoming live stream, and tickets are already able to be bought online.
The first Ace Combat concert premiered in July 2019. The last one in August to celebrate Ace Combat‘s 25th anniversary was only the second, with the third being available to view from the live stream that will go with it. The acronym of the concert, ACE/S, is about the name of the developer of the game series, Project Aces, and this special live stream comes from an inability to collect any recordings from the concert earlier in August. The new performance will take place on October 17 and will be accessible via tickets that fans can purchase online. The website is in Japanese, but a translator browser extension should help clear any issues up.
Project Aces and Bandai Namco has also released a special video to commemorate the occasion, ahead of the upcoming concert. The most recent entry in the Ace Combat series is Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, which launched last year for both consoles, PC, and VR. It became the best-selling game in the series, and we know that a new game is in the works. The world always needs a good, fun, jet-fighting game, so we can’t wait to see what comes out of it.
