Actor Jack Lee Ging of NBC‘s The A-Team passes on at 90 in his La Quint, California home. The deceased actor was known for his roles in Mannix, Riptide, and the Clint Eastwood Western High Plains Drifter. Ging had over 50 movies and television roles from the 1990s to the 1950s. He passed on last Friday, September 9, and the cause of death wasn’t stated.
Born in Oklahoma, the actor featured in the final season of Tales of Wells Fargo as Dale Robertson. Aside from his career, he’s survived by three children, including a son and two daughters. Jack Ging was married three times before he passed on.
Jack Ging’s Early Life Before He Passed On
The late actor was born on November 30, 1991, to his farmer-parents outside Alva in Oklahoma. His parents divorced when he was young, making him live with relatives a lot. Before Jack Ging passed on, he served in the U.S Marine Corps for four years, then he was honorably discharged later on.
The late actor was a Marine before kick-starting his acting career actively in Sniper’s Ridge, 1961. Since then, Ging has featured in several movies and tv shows, including CBS‘ Dear Detective. In addition to his acting career, he was also an athletic champion.
Jack Ging played for one season with the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League before he passed on. He was also a Crosby golf tournament winner and a Clint Eastwood Celebrity Tennis tournament champion.
The Late Actor’s Marriage And Family
Marriage is one thing that Jack Ging had to give more than one try before he passed on. Right after high school, the actor got married to his first wife. They later divorced, resulting in his wedding to Gretchen Graening in 1956. His union with Graening was blessed with a son before they divorced in 1973. Then in 1978, he got married to Sharon Ramona Thompson in LA. The union produced two daughters.
Still married to Sharon, Jack Ging passed on September 9 in his California home. One thing is certain following the great actor’s demise. The acting world will be missing another great legend.
