Adam Sandler’s new basketball movie Hustle has finally released its official trailer on Youtube after a teaser for the film was dropped earlier this year in February. In his latest, highly anticipated drama role, Adam Sandler takes on the Netflix screen to play Stanley Sugerman, a washed-up scout for the 76ers. While trying to get back into the NBA, he takes a chance when he finds a phenomenal streetball player while traveling in Spain and takes it upon himself to bring him to the States without his team’s approval. Together in this basketball movie, the pair go against the odds and have one final shot to prove they have what it takes to make it in the NBA.
The Rocky-Esque screenplay was written by Will Fetters (A Star is Born) and Taylor Materne (NBA 2k”). Directed by South Philly native Jeremiah Zagar and produced by Adam Sandler and LeBron James, the rated-R Netflix film Hustle is expected to release on June 10th, 2022.
