All Lock Solutions in Resident Evil 4 Remake
RE4 Remake has one combination lock in the Village and three electronic terminal locks on the Island. You can follow our guide on how to open these locks in order.
The Combination Lock – Chief’s Manor
You will come across a locked closet in the Village Chief’s Manor. There is a marble in this closet that you can take upstairs and open the door to a secret place. But to achieve this crystal marble, you must first open the lock.
The game tells you to read a book called Iluminados to figure out the puzzle. But you can simply open the closet by putting the symbols in this order:
- Crops – Pig – Baby.
The Electronic Terminal Locks
These electronic terminal locks are on the Island. In this area, you can find three locks with weird puzzles. To open these locks, you must direct electricity to power nodes, which can be tricky to solve.
First, you need to open the one at the Dissection area of the map. You need to lead the power to two nodes (image above), and the door will be unlocked. It’ll reward you with a level 1 keycard, which you can use to access the Freezer.

In the Freezer, you’ll find the next terminal. The image above shows the lock solutions in Resident Evil 4 Remake for the one on the Freezer. This time, there are five power nodes that you must direct electricity into. Follow the pattern, and you will unlock a door with a LE 5 (typically the real-life MP5 gun) inside.
Now the last terminal is in Waste Disposal. It has only four nodes; you must follow the pattern in the image above to unlock it.
