What Are The Rumors About ‘RHONY: Legacy’?
The Real Housewives of New York spinoff features former cast members of the Bravo franchise. It is otherwise known as RHONY: Legacy;Â 54-year-old Andy Cohen shot back at a report that alleged that Bravo “rescinded its offers” to the RHONY alums who are to star in the RHONY: Legacy.
On January 30, fans of the Real Housewives of New York learned from Page Six that the anticipated RHONY: Legacy was canceled. According to reports the series that was supposed to feature former stars of the show was “dead”. The reports also stated that Bravo did not have plans to continue with the show.
Immediately after the article was published online, the Executive producer of Bravo’s late-night show, Watch What Happens Live debunked the report on Twitter. The Television presenter told people not to “believe everything you read.” The Bravo boss also added the hashtag “RHONYLegacy,” to his post.
What Is The ‘RHONY: Legacy’ Show All About?
Fans of the Bravo Housewives franchise have been anticipating the release of the RHONY: Legacy show for over a year. Rumors have it that Luann de Lesseps, Jill Zarin, Dorinda Medley, Sonja Morgan, and possibly others will star in the show. After the negative reactions towards RHONY season 13, the television talk show host decided to repackage RHONY into two shows. Cohen decided to feature an all-new cast in the new season of RHONY, but also make another show featuring the former stars.
A former RHONY star, Ramona Singer, confirmed that she will not feature on the RHONY: Legacy during an interview with Carlos King in October. The former reality star even referred to the RHONY spinoff show as “the loser show.” The former reality star said that because the show was to feature Housewives who were no longer part of the franchise. Although Cohen debunked the cancellation of RHONY: Legacy rumor, he is yet to confirm officially if the show will still hold.
