Who doesn’t love a good treat or treat? What about a Fight or Fright? The newest Apex Legends event is bringing Halloween to Kings Canyon. A completely new battle royale mode filled with terror, new challenges, and some spooky cosmetics that have been remastered from the 2019 Fight or Fright event is all to come later this month. There’s a lot to be excited about for die-hard Apex fans! Let’s get into the details.
New Shadow-Royale Mode

Just in time for Halloween, we’re returning to the spooky, alternate dimension where Revenant runs the Apex Games. Shadow Royale starts like any other trios match, but when you die you will be raised from the dead in a powerful “Shadow Form” to exact vengeance on your killers and help carry your squad to victory. Armed with a brutal melee attack, enhanced mobility and blistering speed, you will terrorize other squads and protect your own with infinite Shadow lives until your living teammates are eliminated or you emerge victorious as the last living squad.
Spooky Remastered Cosmetics
The event sees the return of the beloved 2019 Fight or Fright character costumes with full reimaginings for this year’s event. Wicked Harvest Bloodhound, Sweet Dreams Caustic, and more are returning for the originals of the roster. Newcomers like Loba, Revenant, and Rampart will also be joining the cast with their variations of Halloween get-up.
Fight or Fright Event Dates
The Apex Legends Fight or Fright Event will begin on October 22nd and end on November 3rd. That’s a little under two full weeks to get in on the tricks and treats.
