The great varying styles of savage armor sets in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla all have their unique touches. The Draugr pack can strike terror into the souls of your opponents; Hel’s Damnation pays tribute to the ruler of Helheim; the God of Thunder’s legendary sheathing can make you feel tremendously powerful. In the game’s Animus Store, the developers have been releasing new sets for players to check out. And since some sets require long hours of raiding and discovering, it might be a good idea to get one for yourself in the game’s Animus Store. One such set caught my eye, and I’ll share a few details on how to acquire the Einherjar Armor Set.

 

For the armor sets in the game, there are really two main ways to acquire them. One, by embarking on journeys throughout England to loot treasuries; two, by spending Helix Credits in the Animus Store. In order to obtain the Einherjar Armor Set, you’ll have to go with the latter option. But its historic appearance and perks might nudge the buyer into purchasing.

According to Norse Mythology, fallen warriors who died during combat are welcomed into Valhalla from the Valkyries. These einherjar fighters (which in Old Norse translates to “those who fight alone”) would be serviced by the Valkyries as they resided peacefully in Odin’s hall of champions.

The Einherjar Armor Set represents these slain Norsemen with the appearance of dried blood on the clothing. Furs and crimson colors mostly take the attention of the view, but the patches of blood seem to have blended into an auburn discoloration. In other words, it’s not bright red – it actually goes oddly well with the outfit’s patterns as opposed to sounding brutal and gory on paper. It’s part of the Wolf Skill Tree, with perks allowing you to Increase Attack after each Kill (Up to 3 times) and Give a small amount of life after 3 Kills.

How to Find the Armor Set

1. Head over to the game’s main menu and select the Store option.
2. Select the Packs section.
3. Navigate through the special packs and you’ll find the Einherjar Pack.

The complete Einherjar Armor Set contains a total of nine items. The armor parts come with the Einherjar Helm, Hood, Armor, Bracers, and Pants; additionally, the pack comes with a Svadilfari stallion Mount, a Blood Eagle (not literally) skin for your raven, the Dwarven Axe, and Helgi’s shield. It’s currently going for 1,500 Helix Credits in the Animus store of Valhalla. Of course, you can always check in at Reda’s Shop to see if any items are on sale for opal exchanges.
