It’s your first day on the job at your at a large corporation. Think you’ll be nervous about fitting in? Worried about becoming just another office drone? Well at least you don’t have to worry about being cursed by a witch. That is unless you play the upcoming survival horror RPG Yuppie Psycho.
Follow as Brian Pasternak during his first day at work at Sintracorp, the most important company in the world. What first appears to be a routine office job, Pasternak soon figures out what his job requirements are a bit different than than first stipulated. To survive, he must hunt a powerful Witch tormenting the facility.
Yuppie Psycho is developer Baroque Decay’s follow up to indie darling The Count Lucanor. If you’ve followed the developers on Steam in the past few months, you’ll likely have been waiting for more news on the project.
Monday afternoon, developer Baroque Decay released their announcement trailer for Yuppie Psycho. The trailer, linked above, revealed just what creepy 8-bit frights its fans should expect.
Similar to the reveal trailer that came out last year, we can see that the First Job Survival Horror game carries all of the elements that made The Count Lucanor so successful. Creepy environments? Check! Comically dark NPCs? Check! And of course, plenty of 8-bit blood.
As of now, there is still no concrete release date for the game. But a demo could be within your grasp.
After posting the trailer to the Facebook group Indie Game Promo, fans asked if there would be a demo for Yuppie Psycho released in the near future. Team member Vladislav Tsopljak revealed that they will be raffling away demo access amount their discord members. For a chance to play the game early, head over to the link.
