We all knew that Barry Allen would get a new suit for The Flash season 6. We’ve seen a few promotional images of Barry’s latest suit but thanks to TVLine, we finally have a pretty good look at the full costume:

Thankfully, the newest iteration of the Flash suit will bring back the highly-requested chinstrap that was missing from Barry’s season 5 get-up. Overall, this look is a major upgrade compared to last season and is definitely a nod to the New-52 DC continuity.
During SDCC a few months ago, lead actor Grant Gustin talked about the season 6 suit, saying that the crew entirely remade the cowl for this new suit (via Cinemablend):
āWhat we did last year I thought was awesome. We had some struggles with the cowl because it was our first time trying to do this type of suit. We built off of what we did last year. For the first time since we started the show we actually re-did the cowl entirely. So, itās definitely the closest itās ever been to looking like the suit from the comics. Itās pretty dang cool, man.ā
The Flash will clash with Bloodwork, played by Heroes‘ Sendhil Ramamurthy, to kick off season 6. At some point, the show will shift its focus to the upcoming “Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover and after that 5-hour event ends in January, we’ll see the second big bad come into play. Showrunner Eric Wallace has stated that season 6 will feature 2 main antagonists and the latter could be the “most personal” villain the team has faced since Eobard Thawne AKA the Reverse-Flash.
Luckily, we don’t have to wait too much longer to see The Flash return to our TV screens as the hit CW series is set to premiere its sixth season October 8th on The CW.
