Ben Affleck may have revealed A Major Flash Spoiler for The Flash involving Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman. Although The Flash will hit theatres in June, a few details have already been exposed to the public. For now, we know, according to the trailer, that General Zod will be a villain himself in the Flash film.
So far, it has been spoiled that the film’s antagonist will be Dark Flash, a speedster that takes souls. Although ComicBookMovie gave a few details on Dark Flash, the character’s role in the movie has been kept under wraps. However, in an appearance with Smartless, Affleck revealed that Wonder Woman would have a crucial moment in the film, which involves the Lasso of Truth.
Ben Affleck Major Spoiler Reveal for The Flash
While saying that he doesn’t want to spoil anything, he goes on to say, “I don’t want to give a spoiler, but it was a scene where I get saved by Wonder Woman during a conflagration with some bad guys, and she saves me with the Lasso of Truth, and so what happens is that Batman divulges some real feelings about his life and his work.” Gadot’s appearance as Wonder Woman in The Flash will be her second this year behind Shazam! Fury of The Gods.Â
It was at that point when Affleck said, “I got it,” in terms of finally figuring out how to play Batman. Gadot debuted as Wonder Woman in 2016’s Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, followed by her solo films in 2017 and 2020. She was also on-screen for Justice League and Zack Snyder’s Justice League; making a big presence in those films.
The Flash has undoubtedly faced some roller-coaster rides and pushbacks throughout the years. It was in development for a while and was pushed back several times. Also, the film’s main star Ezra Miller had some pretty serious allegations against him and some trouble with the law. He apologized for his actions and all the controversy.Â
Despite her numerous appearances, Wonder Woman’s future in the DCU is uncertain since Wonder Woman 3 was recently canceled. However, unlike Henry Cavill’s Superman and Affleck’s Batman, there have yet to be any discussions on recasting Wonder Woman; plus, Gadot’s character has already made her presence in recent DC films.
Whether we have seen the last of Wonder Woman remains to be seen. The Flash will hit theatres on June 16. Along with Ben Affleck’s Batman, Michael Keaton will return as Batman on-screen.
