Strap on your big boy swords, people. We’ve got more collectible statues to show you, and they aren’t your measly $300 playthings this time. It’s Prime 1’s Berserk line, and the manufacturer has a total of seven different figures to offer.
From the frightening God Hand, Slan and Ubik, available separately or as a set. Slan costs $900, stands 2’2″ tall, and is rendered in unabashed alluring detail, as are all their figures. Note the description says the loose feathers from the images will not be included. It also suggests the image might not resemble the final product 100%, as the statue will be “uncovered.” Ubik, being mostly just a head, floats at 1’4″ over its base and rings in at $350. These two as a set will cost $1,200, saving buyers only a small amount of money. Pre-orders are open now and ship summer of next year.
Guts, the Black Swordsman from Berserk, has two statues to his name, including the berserker armor version. Both have already been produced and shipped, so orders will be placed on a waitlist. They each cost $1,000 apiece, and they’re freaking tall – at least two-and-a-half feet!
Berserk‘s Griffith is one of the most expensive in the line at $1,030, beaten only by Zodd. Griffith stands proud at a little over two feet, and yes, the birds are included (probably). If this one’s a must-have, you’d best hurry because stock is running precariously low. Pre-orders for this one are expected to ship February through April next year.
Prime 1 Studio is based in Tokyo and has been in business since 2012. The company sells incredible quality polystone statues worldwide from a variety of games, comics, and anime (a very large percentage of which are Batman). Berserk is among the newer series, with all but the Guts figures still taking pre-orders. There are several statue companies, but Prime 1 is a top-dollar roller.
