Similar to Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul got off to a slow start in its first few seasons. But just like its predecessor, things are really starting to pick up entering Season 4 of the show.
The third season of Better Call Saul left off on a sad note, with Jimmy’s brother Chuck committing suicide. The first look at the newest seasons shows Jimmy at Chuck’s funeral with Kim, who is still recovering from her car crash, and Howard Hamlin, all of whom are grieving.
Meanwhile, Gus Fring is starting to gain more power, with Mike inching ever closer to a permanent relationship with the Meth boss.
In a recent interview with EW, Better Call Saul star and producer Bob Odenkirk revealed just how much faster the show will be moving things season.
“Everything moves faster,” Odenkirk said. “We’re getting closer to him being Saul, and when we met Saul he was already involved with characters from the Breaking Bad world.”
This statement is reinforced in the bloody first trailer for the season. Things turning dangerous, as the cousins return, with bloody massacres following them.
