That’s right, our favorite Marvel super-spy’s solo film is now available for all audiences on Disney+. The Black Widow movie focuses on the titular character while she’s on the run from the government after Captain America: Civil War. The movie has had multiple issues on the production side over time, to say the least. From multiple delays in release to a harsh legal battle between star Scarlett Johansson and Disney based on the streaming rights, it’s been a rough time. But with its mainline debut as it drops down from the Premium Access tier, fans are surging to it again. And with it comes a plethora of deleted scenes that they’ve all been loving.
Deleted Scenes of All Kinds for Black Widow
The Disney Plus release of Black Widow brings us nine separate deleted scenes, each of varying lengths. Most were meant to fill in blanks or round out edges of the film. One such scene shows Natasha escaping custody later in the movie. It helps shed a little light on how she went from the showdown to her next stages. There are also some comedic and light-hearted scenes, which help define character relationships a bit more. This comes as a welcome change to critics, as the Black Widow movie was seen as hollow and wooden regarding her backstory. Lastly, there are a few world-building scenes about the villains. Specifically, we get a much better look at The Red Room and Taskmaster. These have likewise been seen as interesting since the criminal organization feels fairly rushed due to its late arrival in the movie.
Fans have been happy to see more content of their favorite female Avenger, even though it has been minor. For those that haven’t been able to make it out or fork over the money for Premium Access, your time to watch has come. As Phase 4 of the MCU begins, we say goodbye to our fallen heroes at hand. Black Widow, we’ll miss your kick-butt movies and snarky attitude.
