Developer Team Suneat is officially gearing up for the Blade Assault 1.0 release on Steam Early Access. With additional publishing by NEOWIZ, the cyberpunk roguelike title is dropping new content as it rolls out. Players can expect the game’s ending along with finalized story elements from bosses to a friendship system to delve into.
Mark Your Calendars for the Arrival of Blade Assault
Team Suneat’s Blade Assault takes place in a dystopian future where three regions occupy the space of the world. The Outside Grounds is littered with mutants and degenerates; the Undercity where folks have fled from the mutant filth; Esperanza, where the rich and careless thrive. But when corruption turns into trouble with Esperanza, it’s up to the player to take the fight to the man.
The official release of Blade Assault from Steam Early Access will see the player taking control from one of three heroes: Kil, Jenny, and Darcy. Each character will come packed with their own special playstyles and weapons. Version 1.0 will see the game’s packaging with over 200 items to utilize. Additionally, there will be new weapons to equip as players will go up against the seven distinctive bosses that will test you to your limits. The game is also in wondrous roguelike fashion: hope only knows what you can achieve when you dive into the chaotic action of Blade Assault.
Blade Assault‘s development comes from Team Suneat with publishing by NEOWIZ. The action-packed roguelike has been in Early Access for quite some time, with testing sessions for keen players. It will officially launch this January 17, 2022, on Steam for its 1.0 version release, but players can still purchase the title now for $17.99.
