Bob’s Burgers Jay Johnston, known for his voice work of Jimmy Pesto in the comedy hit series has been reportedly ‘banned’ from the show. New photos have come out linking the actor to the unforgivable and horrific insurrection that took place on January 2021, at the nation’s capital. The FBI has been slowly investigating who was involved. From what appears, the photo of Johnston could be one of the many suspects.
Johnston has been noticeably missing from the new twelfth season and according to the IMDB’s cast listing for The Bob’s Burgers Movie, Johnston isn’t included in the cast.
Johnston has not been confirmed in the photo as the FBI will investigate further into the actor’s involvement. According to the DailyBeast, “Johnston, Fox and the staff of Bob’s Burgers have never publicly confirmed that that was, in fact, Johnston’s face that the FBI published in a poster soliciting tips about a possible riot suspect. Johnston has not been arrested or charged with a crime” (Rawnsley, Stern, et al).
Bob’s Burgers’ Jay Johnston has an impressive resume in Hollywood, especially in the voice-over business beyond Jimmy Pesto. His credits include Mr. Pickles, Modern Family, Rick and Morty, and Arrested Development. Johnston has been included in 43 episodes of Bob’s Burgers. Jimmy Pesto has been a popular part of the show being Bob’s restaurant rival that lives across the street. With Johnston banned, hope season eleven won’t be the last time we see the character.
The Insurrection at the Capitol took place on January 2021, following the election results of President Joe Biden’s historic win against former President Donald Trump. It took place after a Make America Great Again (MAGA) rally event. Investigations are still in the process as we reach the anniversary of the horrific event that left many officers injuries and a few deaths.
The new season of Bob’s Burgers can be seen on FOX Channel and all episodes, including the new season, is streaming on Hulu.
