Bungie is kicking off its Bungie Day Giving Festival with a series of streaming events and prizes. Starting today, July 7th, until July 20th, players are welcome to join in on the activities as the Bungie Foundation gives back to their loyal fans. This comes in the form of an online fundraiser that aims to help those in need. Quite notably, the victims of Ukraine are still struggling during their conflict with Russia. Ultimately, the Bungie Foundation embraces diversity and human equality, and it all starts with the festival.
Bungie Foundation Commences its Supportive Day Giving Festival for July
The Bungie Day Giving Festival highlights many of its community members by returning the fun for everyone. To do this, the organization is working with multiple content creators, streamers, and donors. Some participants include ImPwnstar, uhmaayyze, shesnaps, Lanza, xoxoKarlee, Benjjjyy, and many more. You can check out the full schedule right here. You might spot one of your favorite streamers on the list!
In addition to the fundraising efforts, players who engage in the festival will have a chance to earn the Metagalactic Bloom and Function of Grace emblems. In turn, the donors will earn some sweet prizes themselves. There’s also the purchasable Loyal Companion exotic emote and Artemis Plush that players can acquire. Of course, 100% of the profits go directly toward the efforts of the Bungie Foundation. Furthermore, cosplayers will have a chance to be featured throughout the festival. Interested Destiny 2 characters can share their photos with the hashtag #ShredsOfLights to be considered.
The humble Bungie Foundation was first established in 2010 as the charitable extension of the video game developer. They give back to the community by sharing support for players worldwide. Its company stretches across three charities: Children’s Health and Wellbeing; Humanitarian Aid; Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity.
