Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War features a myriad of achievements for players to collect. Some require a bit of extra digging, while others can be earned through regular gameplay. While they don’t offer anything super special, they can be great for those wanting to 100% all their favorite games. One such achievement is The Fixer achievement, which is really simple and can be done through basic gameplay. In this guide though, I’ll give you some suggestions for how to get the achievement in Black Ops Cold War.
How to Get The Fixer Achievement in Cold War
The Fixer achievement requires you to score 200 kills in Cold War’s multiplayer. That’s easy enough and will just take some time, but there are a few methods you can take to speed up the process. One of my personal favorite methods is to take a sniper into the Combined Arms Moshpit mode. You can perch yourself somewhere good (if you aren’t on the god awful Cartel map) and pick people off from a distance. I find myself easily getting 20 kill matches this way, and having fun along the way.
That isn’t your only option in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War though. If sniping isn’t your forte, you can always jump into the same mode with your favorite gun. I just suggest using this mode as it’s one of the longer modes, and thus offers more opportunities for kills. That and, well, you can jump into a tank or boat if you want some quick and easy kills. As for those of you who don’t enjoy the mode, there are still a few options for you (albeit less successful). Many players have reported that going into Hardpoint, Domination, Kill Confirmed, and Control work well too. These are the longer modes of Black Ops Cold War’s multiplayer, and thus can net you more kills.
