Rooster Teeth Gets Spooky With A Camp Camp Halloween Special

Rooster Teeth is known for truly celebrating the Halloween season. They create and produce special spooky merchandise every year to prepare fans for the holiday, but they are taking it one step further this year. Their animated summer camp hit, Camp Camp, will have its own Halloween special. And fans can expect to see it this weekend, October 6 and 7.

Earlier this week, Rooster Teeth posted a promo video on their Twitter page for the Halloween special. For Rooster Teeth FIRST members, the internet company’s paid sponsorship program, the newest episode will be available on Friday, October 6th, 2017. However, it will be on Youtube for the general public on the following day: Saturday, October 7th. In the short promo video below, the campers can be seen quarantining David in the mess hall due to an illness. As the illness is passed along, chaos, and hilarity, are bound to ensue.

Camp Camp is usually a part of Rooster Teeth’s annual “Summer of Animation”, but fans are more than excited about getting a little extra Camp Camp in their lives. With the pleasant surprise of a Halloween special, the rumor is that there might even be a Christmas special in the works as well.

Camp Camp tells the ridiculous, dysfunctional stories of the campers and staff at a summer camp called Camp Campbell. Max, Nikki, and Neil lead the colorful cast of campers while the overly enthusiastic camp counselor, David, watches over them with the help of fellow counselor, Gwen. It is sure to be a busy month for Rooster Teeth with this Halloween special and the fifth volume of their hit anime, RWBY, releasing later this month. RWBY is set to release on Saturday, October 14th, 2017.
