A few months after defending her views stating it was due to her Christian background, Candance is now speaking out against cancel culture. She called it “difficult” to go through.

Candance Cameron Bure Calls Cancel Culture “Difficult”
“Cancel culture is real, and it’s difficult, and it’s hard,” Candance Cameron Bure said in a recent interview with the Unapologetic With Julia Jeffress Sadler podcast.
The 46-year-old actress added that it is even more difficult for people with a heart for others.
Candance continued by stating that Christians are persecuted for their faith in various parts of the world.
She added that North America has served as a “cushion” against the type of persecution experienced in other countries.
Candance believes, however, that the goal of cancel culture is to silence people from speaking their truth, especially Christians. Having stated that, the actress encouraged other Christians not to back down.
Candance’s Marriage Comment
In November 2022, the former cast member of Full House got into trouble after saying that she had left the Hallmark Channel.
She left the Hallmark Channel for the Great American Family network to seek preserve conventional marriage at its core.
They asserted that it suggested the network would eliminate LGBTQ+ marriage stories because it seemed to devalue same-sex unions.
After facing backlash for her remarks, which many people perceived as homophobic, Cameron turned to social media to claim that people had been “attacking” her.
She stated that her online attackers were attempting to undermine her character.
However, many famous people, including her Fuller House co-star Jodie Sweetin, appeared to agree that the star’s statements were hurtful.
Several other people, including Jojo Siwa, Maren Morris, Sophia Bush, and Hilarie Burton Morgan, publicly criticized Candance’s marriage comments.
Even though Candance’s remark is still being debated, one can only hope that she and other celebrities can resolve the issue amicably.
