Mega Man 11 is on its way and Capcom is not shy about releasing new information about Rockman and his adventures. As always the Blue Bomber must fight other robots to unlock new gear and weapons, and the newly announced baddie, Blast Man, packs quite a punch.

Capcom released a picture and a look at Blast Man’s background and personality. This explosive Robot Master hangs out in an amusement park and has a taste for explosions.
This Robot Master is clearly on a short fuse, and it shows in the design of his stage: the ruined remains of a theme park and movie studio hybrid that Blast Man has shaped into his personal playground. He’s added several personal touches, including a number of signs featuring himself as the star of “Blast Man Adventure.” It seems like Block Man isn’t the only one with a narcissistic streak!”
Traveling to Blast Man’s hangout is no walk in the park. Players must fight through new enemies such as those who launch fireballs and explosive mini-bots. Blast Man himself is prepared with bombs and plenty of them. Once players defeat the master of explosives, they get a nice upgrade both in firepower and flare for the Power Gear.
Your reward for defusing this volatile Robot Master is Chain Blast, a unique weapon that floats bombs across the screen that stick to enemies along the way. As the name suggests, you can chain together multiple bombs and detonate them all at once, or use the Power Gear to create massive explosives for even bigger blasts!”
The game also allows players to create upgrades and gear for Mega Man. During levels, you’ll collect bolts dropped by enemies and bring them back to Dr. Light’s Lab. Players can also test their skills against Robot Masters with the Time Attack mode or trade out stage enemies with balloons in Balloon Attack mode. Here, players must burst as many colorful balloons as possible before time runs out.
Those are just a few of the new additions coming to Mega Man 11. The game releases October 2, 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC. Before then the Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 and Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 will release July 24.
