Capcom announced last year that two of its biggest franchises will return. Once the announcement was made, players added these titles to their most-anticipated list. The Game Awards brought a trailer of the latest Street Fighter game, and not long ago, we got to see even more stuff about Resident Evil 4 Remake. Now, it would seem that Capcom is planning a showcase for Resident Evil 4 Remake and Street Fighter 6. The good news is that the show is coming in a week.
Capcom will host a showcase for Resident Evil 4 Remake and Street Fighter 6 next week
While there isn’t an official announcement yet, leaks suggest there is a big show coming. Even if it only shows two games, these titles are quite big and some of the most anticipated releases of 2023. Resident Evil 4 Remake is bringing back the horror while adding some new stuff to the cult classic. It is retaining its iconic third-person camera and the setting that this time, looks even spookier. As for the case of Street Fighter 6, we’ll be able to play again as the well-known Guile or Chun Li. The latest trailers focus on this new gameplay, which includes different techniques, such as:
- Super armor move
- Parry
- Special moves
- Rush attacks
- Low damage reversal
- Classic or Modern Control mode
- Battle Hub
There's a media event for Street Fighter 6 and Resident Evil 4 Remake next week, so expect more details on both games soon :)

Resident Evil 4 Remake: Gameplay and More Details
While the news about the Resident Evil 4 remake and Street Fighter 6 showcase hosted by Capcom is great, there’s a catch. This event might only be available to some media outlets and not the whole public. This is a bit sad, but we hope that some people are able to show footage from the event. In the meantime, the launch of Resident Evil 4 Remake isn’t that far and probably will get more information as the date come closer. Remember, this game will be released for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam.
