Captain America: Civil War to give BvS Ultimate cut a run for its money.
In movies, a lot of the content produced never makes it into the theatrical cut. From deleted scenes to blooper reels and interviews, that leaves a lot of content for the home release. Captain America: Civil War is following in the footsteps of its box office rival and gifting fans with a lot of new content. At least Digital HD and Blu-ray releases are. Once again, the DVD version is bereft of any bonus content.
According to ew.com the Captain America: Civil War bonus features (not counting deleted scenes) will be:
- A two-part behind-the-scenes documentary United We Stand, Divided We Fall.
- Two rival “Road to Civil War” history lessons; one covering Steve’s character arc and another about Tony’s.
- A gag reel — a collection of blown lines, bungled fight moves, and other bloopers from behind the scenes.
- Audio commentary from directors Anthony and Joe Russo and screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.
- Preview of Doctor Strange: The 14th movie in the MCU
Naturally, that last one will be of great interest to fans, with Doctor Strange being the MCU’s last offering in 2016.
Captain America: Civil War will be released digitally on September 2nd and on other formats September 13th.

An avid gamer since Nintendo vs Sega was a thing, Joe hopes to one day be a game designer himself.
When he’s not working on his design document for his planned ‘Joe is awesome’ RPG, he spends his time writing, going to track days and going to his local cinema.
