A man in Miami, Florida, shared online that he was kicked out of his home after the landlord received complaints from his owners. After showing how he painted all his walls with cartoon characters, the internet “cooked” him, mocking the state of his now-former house and agreeing with the eviction decision.
A video of the man’s walls was shared on TikTok. User 1havinnnn wrote in a caption that he was being kicked out just one month after moving into his Broward County home in Miami, Florida. He blamed his neighbors, although an explanation was never given.
However, one could infer from his painted walls that his artsy nature could be to blame. The man showed many cartoon characters painted on his walls. These included a Bamm-Bamm Rubble from the Flintstones cracking a piggy bank, Scrooge McDuck handling his money, Plankton from SpongeBob SquarePants wearing headsets, and Marvin the Martian.
The fun didn’t stop there. The now-evicted Florida man shared more wall paintings in a follow-up video, including an adult version of Swiper the Fox from Dora the Explorer, a Minion, and the characters from Money Heist.
A Man’s Walls, Trolled Online
Overall, the man’s walls had a money theme that could potentially serve as motivation. In other clips on his TikTok account, he is seen playing with dollar bills and showing luxury cars. He also featured Christian prayers painted on his walls. Those, however, were also related to wealth. One of them even prayed for a “great harvest from every seed I sow.“
While the Florida man certainly looked for sympathy online, what he encountered was closer to internet trolling. Many users bashed the avid artist for painting the walls of his rental home. Some even pointed out that he probably should have asked before making them a display for his inner childhood.
“You did that to a place you were renting?” one user asked. Another one said, “All these slogans and you don’t own the crib.” A third one added, “Are you a child? What’s with all the cartoons on the wall?“
Hopefully, the man will be able to find a place to stay soon. If he does, perhaps he would ask the landlord first before making his walls sponsored by Cartoon Network or Warner Bros.
