The new trailer for Catherine: Full Body shows the main character, Vincent Brooks, once again going through the nightmare fuel that is dealing with juggling three women and the effects that can have on a man’s psyche. The trailer shows off some of the new hellish gameplay scenarios that are being added to Full Body. Finally, the trailer begins to break down, showing the story spiraling out of control as the characters get into a violent bloody mess as Vincent’s actions come back to haunt him.
Catherine, released in 2011, definitely isn’t a game for everyone. It’s over the top, strange, sexual, and violent. But, that’s what has set it apart in such a way that has drawn it quite the cult following. Now in 2019, Atlus is releasing a new version of the game, similar to what they did with the stellar Persona 4 Golden. Catherine: Full Body will add new cutscenes, puzzles, and characters to add a whole new game for fans to dive into. Additionally, in Catherine: Full Body, players who struggle with some of the game’s puzzles will have the new ability to turn on Safety Mode, giving the option to skip difficult puzzles to enjoy the wacky story.
Catherine: Full Body will launch on Feb. 14, 2019, for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in Japan with a confirmed launch in North America and Europe sometime in the next year. Will you be diving back in when it launches this year? Leave a comment below and tell us what you think!
