Studio MAPPA plans to release Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Chainsaw Man anime adaptation this fall. So far, fans have been left waiting since the first trailer that came out a few months ago. And now, the studio has released a Chainsaw Man poster that announces when the second trailer will drop as well as the launch timing for the highly anticipated series.
The second trailer of the anime, Chainsaw Man, is set to arrive on August 5th, and the show is planned to be released in October this year. The newly released poster shows Denji in his Chainsaw Devil form, cutting up devils in all his gore-littered glory.
The official Chainsaw Man Twitter account shared the poster that shows the level of quality and gore that fans can expect in a few months.

What Makes Chainsaw Man Unique
The anime protagonist, Denji, is not your run-of-the-mill anime hero. Most Shonen protagonists have similar motivations when it comes to why they fight. Characters like Goku, Naruto, Gon, and so many others, who fight to protect those they care about. Or to defeat villains that just want to do villainous things.
Denji has no such honorable intentions; he fights for more self-serving reasons. The motivation for Chainsaw Man’s protagonist is just to get enough money to buy food. That is pretty much all he cares about, aside from meeting women, that is.
The world of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Chainsaw Man revolves around hunting devils. And the protagonist Denji is one such devil hunter. Denji is not very strong, only a small-time devil hunter, but that soon changes when he meets his demise. He is then revived by his pet devil-dog and becomes a force to be reckoned with, Chainsaw Man.
Just like the wildly popular manga series that has sold over 13 million copies due to its story and gore-filled fights. The anime adaptation is expected to include the same amount of blood and gore. After the second trailer arrives on August 5th, the anime will drop on Crunchyroll sometime in October.
