The newest Chainsaw Man trailer has officially been released by MAPPA during a special MAPPA stage event held on Friday, August 5. The event showcased the third official Chainsaw Man PV trailer and confirmed a release date of October 2022 for the TV anime.
Chainsaw Man 3rd Trailer, Broadcast, and Airing Details
The third official Chainsaw Man trailer was released by MAPPA earlier today and confirmed information about the TV anime’s official airing.
The anime will begin airing in October 2022, though no specific date was provided at this time. However, the world premiere of episode one of the anime will be held on September 19, 2022, in Japan. Anime streaming platform Crunchyroll will stream the series simultaneously as it airs in October.
The new Chainsaw Man trailer also revealed more information regarding the main cast, which includes Kikunosuke Toya as the main protagonist, Denji; Tomori Kusunoki (Natsume in Deca-Dence) as Makima; Shogo Sakata (Karin Sasaki in Fire Force) as Aki Hayakawa; and Fairouz Ai (Jolyne Kujo in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean) as Power.

VIZ Media has recently begun releasing the official Chainsaw Man manga in English to celebrate the release of the anime by MAPPA. So far, all eleven volumes of Part 1 have been released, now, and Part 2 began serialization on the Shonen Jump+ digital manga magazine, Shonen Jump app, and Manga Plus app on July 13.
