Sayonara Eri is set to be released from Jump+ on April 11th. There is no word if the manga will get an English release as of yet. However, we can see that the manga is releasing a new femme-fatal character. It is unknown how she will play a part in the story.
Although many are excited to see more from Tatsuki Fujimoto, many are disappointed that the story has nothing to do with Chainsaw Man. However, there are still speculations that Fujimoto is working on another spin-off manga that would focus on a femme fatal character, as teased by Fujimoto himself.
Tatsuki Fujimoto: Chainsaw Man, Look Back, and Goodbye Eri
Since the first part of Chainsaw Man ended, Fujimoto has been creating different one-shots for the online manga platform with the same name. His latest title, Look Back, received critical acclaim and won numerous awards. The manga had over four million online reads within the first two days of its release. The Look Back manga had also topped the Kono Manga ga Sugoi! survey.
2021 and 2022 have shown themselves to be really successful years for Fujimoto. Since his Chainsaw Man release, his popular title has topped many lists and charts. The manga has also earned an anime adaptation set to release at an unknown date in 2022.
