Fans, however, are solidly giving the L.A. native the thumbs-down. In fact, many deem the dress inappropriate as they comment on the cross motifs covering the fabrics. Chanel does not appear to have responded to the backlash.

The mom of one sizzled as she rocked a strapless, low-cut dress in black, also taking things down the religious route. The glam minidress boasted a pattern of both regular and upside-down crosses in silver, plus alligator-like fabrics at the skirt part.

Comments have come in fast. One Instagram user told former Ridiculousness star Chanel West Coast: “Upside down cross? Really? Smh.” Another, meanwhile, said they weren’t “feeling” the crosses. Gaining likes was one fan, who said: “Wow she has an upside down cross on the front and the back of her dress!!! Satanist.”
