The upcoming LEGO Batman movie is about a week from release, and it is actually looking very promising. Will Arnett’s Batman was one of the most memorable parts of 2014’s (surprisingly) very good Lego Movie. If you’re chomping at the bit for more LEGO Batman shenanigans, why not let Batman guide you through the movie’s Wayne Manor in the style of MTV Cribs?

Of course, Arnett’s arrogant take on the character can hardly hide the fact that he and the ultra-rich, handsome Bruce Wayne are, in fact… roommates. The spot has some great sight gags and showcases what will hopefully be a continuation of The LEGO Movie‘s self-aware humor.
After the grimy and ultra-serious trilogy of Christopher Nolan films, LEGO Batman looks like a breath of fresh air. Arnett is the perfect actor to bring humor to the out-of-touch egomaniac that Bruce Wayne can sometimes be. It certainly seems like every actor is relishing their screentime as these characters.
LEGO Batman will feature Batman attempting to stop a takeover of Gotham City by his arch-nemesis, the Joker (Zach Galifianakis). He will be joined on his journey by faithful sidekick Robin (Michael Cera, who co-starred with Arnett on Arrested Development), Alfred (Ralph Fiennes), and various other allies. The star-studded cast will also include the voices of actors such as Jonah Hill, Rosario Dawson, Jenny Slate, Conan O’Brien, Channing Tatum, and even Billy Dee Williams, who will finally reprise his role from 1989’s Batman as Harvey Dent/Two-Face.
LEGO Batman is directed by Chris McKay and will release in the United States on February 10, 2017.
