Chipped Pot Mystery Gift
Pokémon Sword and Shield are providing players with freebee evolution items, including the Chipped Pot.

The Pokémon Sword and Shield devs have been on their A-game by giving away awesome Mystery Gift Pokémon in recent weeks. Including, Galarian Ponyta, Corsola, and Mr. Mime. Not to mention Galarian Meowth, which becomes available on June 12. With the excitement about the new Expansion Pass and free Pokémon grabbing headlines, Game Freak has slipped in a bonus for players. Until June 11, you can receive a Mystery Gift containing rare evolutionary items. Among the items is the difficult to acquire Chipped Pot.

The items are the Sweet Apple, Tart Apple, Chipped Pot, Cracked Pot, Whipped Dream, and Sachet.

Chipped Pot Mystery Gift

The Chipped Pot itself can’t be found in the over-world of Pokémon Sword and Shield. It must be purchased from the Bargain Seller in Stow-on-Side.

Simple enough?

Wrong. The items that the trader has to offer rotates daily. Obtaining one scot-free is more clutch than a critical hit in a Champion’s battle.

The Chipped Pot, The Cracked, and The Sinistea

As if collecting a Chipped Pot wasn’t hard enough, catching the Pokémon that uses it is equally as frustrating. The Pokémon, Sinistea, has two unique forms. One, the Phony form, is somewhat common in the Glimwood Tangle location. Its counterpart, the Antique form, is among the rarest Pokémon within Sword and Shield. You can find both within the Glimwood Tangle, but the Antique form will likely take you quite some time. Often players have found one Antique form for every 20 Phony forms.

The Cracked Pot can be found behind the Stow-on-Side Pokémon Center. This pot will evolve the Phony form of Sinistea. But, for the Antique form, only the Chipped pot will get the job done.

For a quick explanation on Sinistea and both the Cracked Pot and Chipped Pot check out this video:

The Sweet and Tart Apple and Other Items

The Sweet and Tart Apple work similar to the Chipped and Cracked Pot. Using the Tart Apple will evolve the Pokémon Applin into Flapple. While the Sweet Apple will turn Applin into Appletun.

The Whipped Dream evolves Swirlix into Slurpuff. The Sachet evolves Spritzee into Aromatisse.
