Code Vein can be yours for free if you donate blood. That’s because Bandai Namco has scheduled a very special event as part of the marketing campaign of its vampires based game. Indeed, in collaboration with the American Red Cross, Bandai Namco will offer a copy of Code Vein of the blood donators. However, the initiative will take place only in San Diego during TwitchCon weekend. Specifically, on 170 Sixth Ave in San Diego on the 27th of September, from10 am until 4 pm.
This initiative is also for a good cause, since, hopefully, it will incentivize more people to donate blood. Which is extremely important considering that the supply doesn’t always meet the demand as the American Red Cross states.
“The Red Cross provides about 40% of our nation’s blood and blood components, all from generous volunteer donors. But supply can’t always meet demand because only about 3% of age-eligible people donate blood yearly. Each new donor helps us meet patient needs.”
This is Code Vein
Many people have heard of Code Vein for the first time because of this event and still don’t know what it’s about. Code Vein is an Action-RPG set in the near future. The world, as we know it, doesn’t exist anymore. The protagonist is part of a secret society of Revenants called Vein. The main character doesn’t have a memory of the past, and the thirst for blood is always increasing. The goal of this journey is to remember our past and “escape your living nightmare.”
Code Vein launches on September 27, 2019, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
“The world, as we know it, is gone. At the center of the destruction lies a hidden society of Revenants called Vein. Those who remain fight for survival by acquiring Gifts of power in exchange for their memories, and an ever-increasing thirst for blood. Give into the bloodlust fully and risk becoming one of the Lost; fiendish ghouls devoid of any remaining humanity who wander aimlessly in search of blood. Team up and embark on a journey to the ends of hell to unlock your past and escape your living nightmare in CODE VEIN.”
