After finding a surprising amount of success on the PlayStation 4, fans are wondering if the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will be just as good on the Nintendo Switch.
Reviews have been pouring in, with the title averaging similar numbers to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release. So far it has a Metascore of 74 and a user rating of 7.6.
While it looks like play Crash Bandicoot is just as fun on the go, the recently released title does have a holdup in the hardware department.
According to VG Tech, the Switch version of the N. Sane Trilogy runs at 720P while docked and 480P while in handheld mode. In the framerate department, the title runs at 30 frames per second, with occasional drops.
The resolution issues do seem to be the core complaint from almost all of the reviewers so far. Honestly, it’s not too surprising though, especially considering most titles on the Switch aren’t know for graphic fidelity.
