After just hinting at Crysis 2 Remastered last week, Crytek has more up its sleeves. After producing Crysis Remastered, the team certainly understood how they wanted to update their past titles. With more projects larger than remasters in the works, now seemed like the perfect time to unveil their remastered projects. With leaks indicating at an upcoming project in the works, Crysis Next, the time seems right for further remasters. After taking to Twitter last Friday to tease a Crysis 2 remake, the focus has now shifted. Showcasing a screenshot of Prophet on Twitter, Crysis 3 Remastered is shaping up to be Crytek’s next remake.

When Will Crysis 3 Remastered and Crysis 4 Be Unveiled?
With details still sparse, Crytek is giving some subtle hints. Showing both games back to back, weeks apart is telling. The remakes are possibly going to be released or officially announced close to E3. These teases are possibly being made to allow for Crysis 4 to have center stage at E3 this summer. Building more hype for the franchise again with games like Crysis 3 Remastered on the horizon will help. Crytek’s next project is sure to be much larger so their focus on getting these projects released before Crysis Next.
Crysis 3 has long since been regarded as one of the more popular titles in the franchise. There’s plenty to enjoy even now as the title included many staples in gaming we see today. Things like hacking, With no word on any remake of Crysis Warhead, Crytek is sticking to the main series. That being said, this is the last title to remaster before their new game release. Despite that, we’re sure to see more sometime soon what all the details are for these upcoming Crysis games.
