Cult of the Lamb is getting a new event starting today, called the Blood Moon Festival, and this is a limited time event that will run between October 24 through November 10. It is free for anyone who owns the game. A trailer was released to give players an idea of what to expect as well.
Blood Moon Festival
During the Blood Moon Festival, there will be a Blood Moon in the game, allowing players to harvest pumpkins. These pumpkins can be used to unlock a brand new ritual. The new Blood Moon ritual will revive fallen cult members as spirits, letting them wander around the land. You will then be able to catch these ghosts in your base.
The new Cult of the Lamb event also unlocks a few other things. This includes 3 new follower forms, 4 new base decorations, and new music to be played in the game. Presumably, everything you unlock during the event will be permanent, meaning you will still have access to anything you’ve gained even after the Blood Moon Festival is over.
