We probably all can attest that the memorable launch of CD Project Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 was an absolutely harrowing disaster. Broken promises, game-breaking bugs, and hilarious glitches — if anyone was laughing, it most certainly wasn’t CDPR. However, the fun isn’t over yet. For some reason, Cyberpunk‘s marketing team thought it necessary to tweet out some of the game’s player stats over the past few months. The salty fanbase has recently retaliated with their own Cyberpunk 2077 fan parodies of CDPR’s player stats.

Despite the many promises of exciting encounters, possible customization, and other thrilling RPG aspects in Night City, Cyberpunk 2077 delivered relatively less than many fans had hoped and expected. Here are a few of the fanmade “parody stats” under the hashtag #CyberpunkInNumbers.Â
Apparently, the futuristic world of 2077 doesn’t offer much in terms of car customization. Now, there are some impressive, sleek vehicle designs for sale in Nigh City, but the customization we imagined didn’t match what we got.
Among the several encounters marketed by CDPR, the thrilling, fast-paced car chases in the open world of Cyberpunk 2077 weren’t one that made it into the launch. Of course, we aren’t talking about the only heavily scripted chase scene at the start of the game.
Fast travel in video games is quite a controversial topic in the gaming community, but the idea of simply riding an immersive subway or monorail in Night City was sensational. Yet, for some bizarre reason, the in-game world doesn’t contain any sort of public transportation.
On top of these examples, there’s no ability to change your appearance after the initial customization screen. Players can’t climb walls with Mantis Blades. The list of disappointments of fans goes on and on. Even if CDPR manages to someday add these much-needed features into Cyberpunk, reaching a decent level of satisfaction with players will be anything but easy. After all, you probably wouldn’t be happy if you ordered a combo pizza, but the restaurant told you they’ll be sure to add the toppings later.Â
What are your thoughts on these Cyberpunk 2077 fan parodies of CDPR’s player stats? Which missing feature was your biggest disappointment in Cyberpunk 2077? On the flip side, what feature would you like to see CDPR implement into the game? Feel free to share your opinions in the comments!
